As you may already know, Dr. David Springer, a three-time FSU graduate, returned to FSU College of Social Work at the beginning of August as the new dean and inaugural Guy & Delores Spearman Professor. One very cool fact about Dean Springer is that he grew up in Brevard County! 

Current online students living in Brevard County had the unique opportunity to meet the Spearmans, Provost Clark, and the Springers in person. Four Online MSW students, including myself, attended. Each of us had the chance to share our experiences in the program and the impact the Spearman Foundation Scholarship has had on our social work journeys. We are all so thankful to the Spearmans for making this event possible and for their continued support and advocacy for Brevard County and Florida State University.
