The NorthStar program, of St. Francis Reflections, is a bereavement support group for children from 4 to 18 years old.

The program is free to children and families living in Brevard County. "The NorthStar Program brings grieving kids together for support and friendship and gives them a way to grow and heal from their grief."

NorthStar counselors use art, journaling, stories, imaginative play, zoom meetings, in-person meetings, and compassionate listening to help children work through their emotions surrounding loss. In addition, they plan outings, day camps, holiday parties, movies, and more. NorthStar provides grief education for school staff, and grief support for students, has a crisis response team, and has community education on grief issues.

There are bereavement support groups for Littles, 4 to 8 years old, Middles, 9 to 12, and teens, 13 to 18, as well as a parent group. Meetings are held in Melbourne and Titusville.
