If you're a Brevard resident interested in earning your BSW or MSW, or finding the best path to becoming a licensed therapist, Eastern Florida State College and Florida State University have teamed up to create a program that might interest you.

Eastern Florida's 2-year A.S. Degree in Social & Human Services prepares students to apply for FSU's 2-year limited-access  BSW program. See details about the BSW program here. After earning your BSW from FSU, you are eligible to apply to FSU's Advanced Standing MSW program. The FSU Advanced Standing MSW program allows students with a BSW to earn their MSW in one year (3 semesters, full time) or two years (part-time).

For those who chose to earn their MSW at the Tallahassee Main Campus, they can choose a Clinical Social Work concentration or a Social Leadership concentration. See details about the on-campus MSW program here.

Those who prefer to earn their M.S.W. online can apply to the Advanced Standing online program, a 2-year, asynchronous program with a Clinical Social Work concentration. Learn more about our online MSW program here.
