Meet Nancy Klein, LCSW, MSSW

Private Practice Clinical Social Worker

Nancy Klein attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree, and went on to earn her Master of Science in Social Work in Texas. Her first job, after earning her MSSW, was managing an internal employee assistance program at Goodwill in Central Texas. She then was employed doing home health social work, and, after that, psychotherapy at a pain management practice. While working at Goodwill, she obtained supervision, took the certification test, and earned her LCSW.

Nancy is now a private practice clinical social worker in Palm Bay, Florida. Some of the advantages of private practice include the ability to adjust her schedule to meet her family's needs, as well as her own personal care needs.

She talks about the versatility the MSW offers in terms of variability of positions available. Watch the video to learn more about private practice clinical social work, earning your LCSW, and the opportunities available with the MSW degree.

"A Master of Social Work offers the most diversity of any degree field if you want to get into a helping profession."
